Here's where I have a collection of short films (by amateurs and the more seasoned) and art house films done by people I know or have met along the way. The beauty of short and independent films is how far removed they are from the commercial scene - not that there's anything wrong with commercial pursuits. (To those of you who'd like to post your film - any format - please do let me know.
Amateur, independent and short filmmakers have a certain depth and organic quality to their work - often standing out and grabbing your attention in the most astounding way. Often, people say the less of something there is, it keeps you wanting more. Instead of being inferior to films with a higher production value and/or of a higher budget, it is my personal opinion that amateur, short and art films are simply the antithesis or alternative of their often longer or "larger" counterparts.
